On my recent appointments, my symptoms were dealt with consideration and the attending doctors were very helpful. It was fairly easy to get an appointment on the day and my consultation was to the appointed time.

I have found the surgery excellent. The receptionists are very helpful and do their best to solve no end of problems. Perhaps a screen in the waiting area saying how many people are in front of you would be an idea to investigate.

It is tricky to arrange an appointment with one of the 'popular' GP's and the wait can sometimes be as long as two weeks. I guess they are just victims of their own success!

Using the internet to make appointments is very useful and it does not take up receptionists time. If an appointment is made by internet perhaps a reminder could be automatically sent the day before the appointment to help resolve the missed appointments problem.
